Roberto Damonte

ChicaGourmets! and Beverly Malen of Imports Inc./Chicago welcome Roberto Damonte, co-owner and wine maker of Malvirà winery. Malvirà was founded over 50 years ago by Roberto’s father in the Roero region of Piemonte near the famous town of Alba. Over the years they have focused on a few, native varietals to produce exceptional wines that have won many prizes in Italy and across Europe. These wines include the noble Nebbiolo, Barbera d’Alba, Arneis and Brachetto.

Vinci is a Zagat top-rated restaurant, which has been a fixture in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. Owner Paul LoDuca, who also owns Adobo Grill, has been providing outstanding and inventive Northern Italian cuisine since 1991. His attention to detail is evident in the food as well as the authentic décor.

This promises to be a great evening of food and wine.



Price is $65.00 per person for members of ChicaGourmets!, or $75.00 for non-members, inclusive.
