Chef Christian Martin is originally from Barcelona and is a prestigious Michelin three-star master chef award winner. He worked at the Ritz-Carlton in Barcelona under the guidance of Gary Danko before coming to America. He describes his cooking style as classical European with foreign influences, as he likes to experiment with other tastes and traditions, including Asian. He integrates his early childhood immersion in Spanish cuisine at his mother’s restaurants with his classical European training. Riva is a Phil Stefani Signature Restaurant. It’s a fun Italian-American seafood restaurant noted for its delicious fresh fish and spectacular views of the lake and city skyline.
