When the Davies family introduced age-old French Champagne traditions to a burgeoning Napa Valley wine industry over
thirty years ago, a Renaissance in winemaking was begun. The Davies family planted Champagne varietals in their
hillside vineyards, began barrel fermentation, extended aging and became the first to blend fruit harvested from a diversity of vineyards in cool growing regions.
