Chef Michael's tours of duty in New York restaurants read like a Who's Who list, including such notables as Windows on the World, Le Cirque, Maxwell's Plum and the '21' Club. He has many national TV appearances to his credit, including cohosting Epicurious and being a guest on In Julia's Kitchen with Master Chefs. He is co-author of the best-selling The '21' Cookbook (1995). He has been published in New York Magazine, Gourmet and Food and Wine. Now, we welcome his latest book, Nightly Specials, which takes the mystery out of creative home cooking.


Ristorante We

ristorante we, a Tuscan-inspired restaurant located in the heart of the loop is a perennial favorite for the downtown 9-5 set and theatergoers alike. Gather together and sip quartinos of wine while enjoying Executive Chef Charlie Brown's spirited cuisine. Decorated with deep burgundy banquettes and mirrored walls that reflect warm candlelight, the grand ceiling-to-floor windows overlook the hustle and bustle of West Adams Street. Price is $65.00 per person for ChicaGourmets! members, or $75.00 for non-members, inclusive of tax and gratuity.
